CEO and Founder
Dee Bagwell Haslam fell in love with television when she first appeared on The Howdy Doody show as a child. Dee started her career in advertising but transitioned to production at Cinetel Productions. After Cinetel was sold in 1994 to Scripps, she and Rob Lundgren launched RIVR Media.
Dee serves on the boards of the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, the Webb School of Knoxville, and The University of Tennessee Foundation. She is a member of Women’s Business Enterprises, Women in Cable Television, Society of Business Fellows, and International Business Fellows. Awards: Telly’s, Addy’s, The New York Festival, Genesis Award from The Television Academy, and top 100 Production Companies.
President and Executive Producer
Rob Lundgren has over 25 years of experience in management, marketing, sales and publishing. He joined Ross Television Productions, LP as Chief Operating Officer in 1999, and then partnered with Dee Haslam to form RIVR Media. Prior to joining Ross Television, he was a managing partner of Venture Alliance, a venture development firm, and spent 11 years developing new media systems as a partner of Whittle Communications. While at Whittle, Rob specifically developed and launched nine publications and media systems including the company’s first international product.
Rob participates in the wide variety of volunteer functions supported by RIVR Media. In addition, Rob served as founding member and chairman of The City Ballet of Knoxville and is a Board Member for the Johnson and Galyon Company.
Executive Vice President/Executive Producer
Lori Golden-Stryer field-produces, post produces, and is responsible for the creation, development and execution of innovative original series for RIVR Media. She is an award winning, Emmy nominated Executive Producer and has been creating cutting-edge television for 30 years.
In 1996, Lori joined HGTV’s commercial film division where she helped develop and produce commercials and interstitials for networks and cable TV. In 1999, Lori joined RIVR Media and helped in creating the hit series Trading Spaces for TLC; receiving an Emmy nomination for the show. During her career at RIVR, Lori has produced over 30 successful series and specials for various cable networks such as HGTV, DIY, A&E, MTV, TLC, GAC, ESPN Animal Planet, Food Network and Discovery.
Senior Director of Development
Over the past decade, Jaime has led development departments for Maverick Television USA and Asylum Entertainment and was the manager of development at Go Go Luckey Productions. She has developed hundreds of hours of programming, including such series as The Peacemaker for A&E, Addicted for Discovery, Paranormal State for A&E, Four of A Kind for Lifetime, Adoption Diaries for WeTV, Tailgate Takedown for TLC, Rise Up: New Orleans for ESPN, Secret Access: Super Power for History Channel, as well as series and specials for FOX, Bravo, E! Entertainment, MTV, Biography, and many others. In addition, she was a member of the story and production teams on the three seasons of MTV’s Laguna Beach. Jaime has also consulted, developed, directed and story produced for many production companies and producing partners.
Senior Vice President of RIVR Media Interactive
Meg Lonon has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of RIVR Media Interactive since 2006. Since joining RIVR, Meg has served as the supervising producer and project manager for a host of RIVR’s interactive division.
She has also led RIVR transition into short-form videos and training products with the development of the edu-tainment series for children (ages 3 months to 7 years), Moving Picture Books. Other RIVR clients that Meg has supported include Cox Communications, Pilot Travel Centers, Duke University, Gibbes Museum of Art, Worldwide Interactive Network, and Purdue Pharma.
Director of Development
Dave Stanley began his career with RIVR as a production assistant and is now responsible for keeping his finger on the pulse of the television and pop culture landscape in order to develop and assess show concepts. In addition to developing original concepts for dozens of cable networks, Dave also oversees submissions from both outside producers and the general public and is constantly amazed by the inventiveness of others.
Director of Development
JW, a New York native, has over 15 years of television experience, having spent most of his time spent at CBS Sports. He first worked for CBS as a 17 year old runner at the US Open Tennis Tournament, and from that moment on he knew he wanted to be in the business. While attending the University of Mississippi, JW worked through school with CBS, ESPN and FOX, and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Upon graduation, JW took a full time job with CBS Sports in New York and has covered such events as the Masters, Super Bowl XXXVIII, the Final Four, the PGA Championship, SEC Football, the NFL and PGA Tour Golf. He has also been nominated for multiple Emmy’s and won an Emmy for his work on the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. In 2009, JW left CBS to work for his family’s business and was responsible for growing sales in the wholesale fuel division at Pilot Flying J. He now serves as the newest Director of Development at RIVR.
Director of Development West Coast
Aurelia Boyle is RIVR Media's West Coast-based Director of Development. Before RIVR, Aurelia developed for Balance Vector Productions and served as Director of Development for Hearst Entertainment Productions.
Director of Development West Coast
Allison Boon is the newest addition to the West Coast branch of RIVR Media's development team. She has written and produced shows for E!, Travel Channel, History, TLC, and National Geographic. Allison has worked on several feature films, the most recent being the critically acclaimed documentary Forks Over Knives. As the Director of Research at Actuality Productions, Allison and her team conceptualized over 150 hours of the award-winning series Modern Marvels for History. Allison is an active member with Women in Film, the Producers Guild of America, and enjoys being a mentor to several aspiring producers.
Director of Production
Jerome Jarnigan brings over 30 years of television production to RIVR Studios. He was a news photographer in the 1980's, he honed his skills in telling stories visually and earned many state videographer awards in news gathering. In the 1990’s, Jerome branched out into live productions, including sports and entertainment, as a camera operator where there is one chance to get the shot. Jerome has experience ranging from handheld to hard camera, jib operator to helicopters.
Post Production Manager
Andrew Schnaubelt oversees all aspects of the post-production process from the start of production to show delivery including digitizing, editing, audio mixing, mastering and quality control. Andrew is an award-winning editor and has been in post-production for almost 20 years and worked in post-production for television commercials for clients such as Blockbuster Entertainment, Home Depot, McDonalds, and Pepsi. In 2005, Andrew joined RIVR Media and applied his creative and technical expertise to editing, finishing and post-production supervision of programming for cable networks including A&E, Animal Planet, DIY, ESPN, and HGTV.
Nathan supervises numerous projects at RIVR Media. He has been with RIVR since the spring of 2003, when he started as an on-camera carpenter and production assistant. Since then, Nathan has been involved in the design, planning, and execution of over 300 television episodes for DIY, HGTV, and A&E.
Stephanie is currently the Supervising Producer for the hit series, Renovation Realities. She got her start in television when she joined the RIVR Media team in 2005. Since then, she has helped produce and write many successful series and specials for multiple cable networks, including HGTV, DIY, Animal Planet and Discovery.
