Founder and Executive Producer
Dee Bagwell Haslam is Executive Producer of the RIVR Media companies. Since launching RIVR Media in 1998, Dee has been the EP for ground-breaking series such as “Trading Spaces" for TLC, "Whale Wars” for Animal Planet, “Renovation Realities” for DIY Network, and "Escaping Polygamy" for A&E. RIVR has created and produced over 3,000 episodes for 21 different networks.
Before founding RIVR, she worked in various production roles with Bagwell Communications and Cinetel Productions, companies founded by her father, Ross Bagwell Sr., cable TV pioneer.
Dee and her husband, Jimmy, are owners of the Cleveland Browns NFL team. She is also part of the family ownership group of the Travel Center company Pilot Flying J. Dee serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Cleveland, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The University Hospitals, Emerald Youth Foundation, Lakeshore Park, and the University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business Advisory Council. She is also on the NFL Legislative Committee and the Conduct Committee.
CEO and Executive Producer
Lori Golden-Stryer is the CEO of RIVR Media. She field-produces, post produces, and is responsible for the creation, development and execution of innovative original series for the company. She is an award-winning, Emmy-nominated Executive Producer and has been creating cutting-edge television for over 30 years.
In 1996, Lori joined HGTV’s commercial film division where she helped develop and produce commercials and interstitials for networks and cable TV. In 1999, Lori joined RIVR Media and helped in creating the hit series Trading Spaces for TLC, receiving an Emmy nomination for the show. During her career at RIVR, Lori has produced over 30 successful series and specials for various cable networks such as HGTV, LMN, The Weather Channel, DIY, Travel Channel, A&E, MTV, TLC, GAC, TNT, ESPN, INSP TV, Animal Planet, Food Network and Discovery.
Vice President of Development
Aurelia Boyle is RIVR Media West’s Vice President of Development. She is one of the creators of RIVR Media’s groundbreaking new series Escaping Polygamy. Before joining RIVR, Aurelia developed for Balance Vector Productions and served as Director of Development for Hearst Entertainment Productions. She has developed blue chip programming for History, H2, National Geographic and Discovery as well as reality programs for Bravo, MTV, TLC, Style and GSN. While at Hearst, Aurelia developed content with Hearst-owned publications Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and Popular Mechanics.
Since joining RIVR Media, Adam has sold projects to HGTV, GSN, Bravo, Animal Planet and more. He was previously vice president of development at Shine America and All3Media, and developed series that range from docu-soaps to competition reality to soft format. Adam's most recently announced projects are Diamond in the Rough for HGTV and Dark Side Of for Discovery ID’s ID GO digital platform. Prior to joining Shine America, Adam served as a producer on a number of top reality series including MasterChef, School Pride, Live To Dance and America’s Next Top Model.
Vice President of Post Production
Andrew Schnaubelt oversees all aspects of the post-production process from the start of production to show delivery including ingesting, editing, audio mixing, color correcting, mastering and quality control. Andrew is an award-winning editor and has been in post-production for over 25 years. He has worked in post-production for commercials, documentaries, music videos, movie trailers and cable television. In 2005, Andrew joined RIVR Media and applied his creative and technical expertise to editing, finishing and post-production supervision of programming for networks including A&E, LMN, Lifetime, GAC, The Weather Channel, Animal Planet, DIY, ESPN, and HGTV.
Stephanie currently works as the Co-Executive Producer on "Diamond in the Rough" for HGTV. She was previously a producer on "Escaping Polygamy" for A&E and the Supervising Producer for the hit series, "Renovation Realities" on DIY Network. She got her start in television when she joined the RIVR Media team in 2005. Since then, she has helped produce and write many successful series and specials for multiple cable networks, including HGTV, DIY, Animal Planet and Discovery.
Angie Jedlicka is a Co-Executive Producer at RIVR Media. Since joining the company almost 10 years ago, Angie has been a producer on many television series and pilots including "Fix This Kitchen" for A&E, "Catastrophe Inc." for HGTV, "Friday Night Impossible with Jerry Rice" for GAC, "Fat Guys in the Woods" for The Weather Channel and many more. Most recently she was the Co-Executive Producer / Showrunner for the groundbreaking series "Escaping Polygamy" on Lifetime.
Angie began her career at “Good Morning America" in New York City. She then joined “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in Los Angeles for a number of years and afterward, helped produce various Scripps Networks productions in the Atlanta area before finally making her way back to her hometown of Knoxville, TN.
Jillian Smith is RIVR Media West's Manager of Development. She officially joined the team in 2014 and helped open the West Coast offices in LA. In her first year, she worked on various projects, including The Weather Channel's Fat Guys in the Woods. Since then, Jillian has focused on development and found her niche in casting and discovering new talent in the lifestyle space. She's developed and sold several projects to HGTV, and helped produce programming for multiple cable networks including HGTV, Food Network, Bravo, GSN, and Travel Channel. Before joining RIVR, Jillian worked in various areas of the entertainment industry from social media marketing to unscripted television.
Director of Operations
David began working in television production part time at his church 2000, where he learned to run a camera, work a switcher and edit productions. In 2003, he began working freelance for RIVR Media Studios part-time and became Equipment Manager in January 2004 where he maintained and repaired all the production gear. Since 2004, he has worked on more than 100 different episodes as a crew member working as an Audio Engineer, Camera Man, Grip and Utility. David worked on "Whale Wars" for Animal Planet produced by Rivr Media and was part of the camera team that received a Primetime Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Cinematography for Non-Fiction Programming" in 2008 and it was honored with an Academy Award for “Television with a Conscience."
Holly Markle has been with RIVR since 2004 and has over a decade of editing experience. She was most recently the lead editor for "Escaping Polygamy" on Lifetime and an editor for "Diamond in the Rough" on HGTV. She edited the hit series "Renovation Realities" on DIY Network for years. From controversial pilots to long-running series, she has edited shows for ESPN, Animal Planet, Biography, Food Network, LMN, and A&E, to name a few. She has also edited for CNN, and helped launch the National Geographic Channel in 2001 as a producer/editor on one of their flagship programs.
Luke Dye began work at RIVR Media in 2002. His TV editing credits include: “The United States Poker Championship,” “Renovation Realities,” “Knight School,” “Whale Wars,” "The Willis Clan," "Fat Guys in the Woods," and "Escaping Polygamy." In addition, he was an editor on the movie The Devil You Know, featuring Rosamund Pike and Jennifer Lawrence. Luke is also an accomplished filmmaker. His work on the non-profit documentary "Nashville Rises" has garnered the film two Emmy nominations. He cowrote, codirected, and edited a children's film called The Little Ponderosa Zoo. He is our "resident superhero aficianado."
Andrew Jedlicka joined RIVR in 2010. His credits include "Diamond in the Rough" for HGTV, "Fat Guys in the Woods" for The Weather Channel, "Going RV" for GAC, "Catastrophe Inc" for HGTV, “Renovation Realities” for DIY Network, “Fix This Kitchen” for A&E, and "Escaping Polygamy" for LMN, A&E, and Lifetime. Before joining RIVR, Andrew worked for Bunim-Murray Productions on numerous shows, including “The Real World,” “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” and “Road Rules.”
Hayden Wilson started as an intern with RIVR in early 2012 and was hired full-time that summer as an Assistant Editor. During the remainder of that year, Hayden began editing smaller projects whenever an opportunity arose which quickly led to becoming a Editor for RIVR. He edited the pilot of "Escaping Polygamy" for LMN and many RIVR Media Interactive projects. He was the lead editor for "Renovation Realities" on DIY and our resident "creative slate maker" for that show. He also edited "Vintage Rehab." Most recently, he was an editor for "State Plate" on INSP and "Escaping Polygamy" on Lifetime.
